Try to use small-sized arbi for this recipe. Wash and boil the whole arbi in a pressure cooker. Peel and lightly press each piece to give them disc-like shape. Sprinkle red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt on the arbi. Then shallow fry the seasoned arbi till brown and crispy. Make the masala with carom seeds, hing, garlic, onion, and other spices including garam masala and mango powder. Add the fried arbi to the masala, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
