The two teams are battling it out in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Moises Henriques has been included in the Australian lineup, as a replacement for Marcus Stoinis who is sidelined due to an injury. Finch termed Henriques’ ability to bowl as the factor which made a difference while deciding on a replacement for Stoinis. The Indian team is unchanged from the 11 in the first ODI. Navdeep Saini has been introduced into the attack, marking the first change in the bowling. Skipper Virat Kohli will be optimistic of Saini delivering an early breakthrough, which has eluded India so far.
